Sometimes it happens that the network just shuts down on the AX4C Max with
onboard lan (broadcom gigabit).
When I reboot everything works just fine again.
Anyone else with this issue?
Latest drivers are installed for the Broadcom network adapter
System is winXP pro with service pack 1 and al updates installed

Not sure what the problem is, but my Road Runner does the same thing too, on
occasion. I don't believe it is a driver issue or a motherboard issue. I
have this happen with other models and brands of boards as well. I honestly
think it is an XP thing. Not much help for you, but some FYI anyway.

Chris

Mine does the same exact thing, I had to install a PCI NIC to get a reliable
network connection. Based on my experiences so far, I'd have to say the
AX4C is a total P.O.S.

This is my first & last AOpen board.

Same problem here... although I don't think it's an XP problem but a
hardware problem since I tried other operating systems and the problem
persisted.

Another problem I'm suffering is blue screens or suddenly reboots.
Perhaps it is some memory issue? I'm using Kingston KVR400X64C3/512
modules, which is in the list of supported memory according to the
Kingston website. Anyone some ideas?
